Responsible for all permanent recruitment within Health and Social Care across the UK. Specialising in UK based, EU and Non-EU recruitment of Doctors, Nurses and other healthcare professionals.

• Complete P&L responsibility for 4 offices in Yorkshire and the North East. Responsible for 16 staff - 4 Branch Managers, 4 perm consultants, 8 temp consultants. Responsible for communications relating to, and advising.
• Given responsibility for Bradford branch in 2005. Moved this underperforming branch into new premises, recruited an entirely new staff team and increased GP by 110% in 12 months from £127K pa to £268K. (Resulted in.
• Increased profits in Leeds for second year by a further 30%. Under my direction as Area Manager this branch is now one of the most profitable within the group, making over £350K PA.
• Was awarded Middlesbrough care in Jan 2006 (at that stage a loss making branch) Recruited a whole new team and Branch manager. Increased weekly GP temp revenue from £1100 to £2400. Restored reputation and increased.
• Coached and trained Branch Managers through a series of development programmes. Provide sales training to staff at all levels.
• Delivered presentations to all management across the country to re-launch Best Practice across the company

• Promoted within the group to manage the Leeds office comprising 3 consultants (2 temp, 1 perm) and an in-house RGN. Achievements:
• Joined as manager when the office was in a loss-making state, within 12 months had increased GP by 76% from £129k to £228k.
• One of 2 branches nominated for “Branch of the Year 2004” based on staff retention, audit results and profit.
• Personally responsible for negotiating and closing 4 year, 1st tier preferred supplier contract with Leeds City Council Recruited and trained full new team.

• Joined Brook Street as a Temps Consultant, continued in that role for 8 months before changing to recruit Permanent staff for the last 7 months.Achievements:
• Highest billing Perm Consultant in the office at the point of promotion to Branch Manager within BS Social Care.

• Promoted from Assistant Manager, with responsibility for 8 staff and the full running of a major Leisure Club. Achievements:
• Over 18 months increased membership from 420 to 800 (maximum capacity), resulting in the introduction of a waiting list for membership. Improved staff retention levels to 97% in an industry known to have high staff.
• Designed, delivered and managed a series of promotions that incorporated events, marketing and promotions.
• Negotiated and secured a sponsorship with a major household brand sportswear manufacturer.
• Following an invitation sat as a member of the Bradford Leisure and Tourism Advisory Committee, representing the leisure sector within the region. Was also a member of the management team that secured Investors in.
