Becca was a part of the founding team that created TEDx for TED. There, she helped establish licensing, branding, and distribution guidelines for TEDx program. To date, over 23,000 self-organized TEDx events have taken place globally.In her role, Becca was responsible for growing the TEDx program globally and managed TEDx’s strategic partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Key responsibilities included growth strategy, program development, business development, community management, and marketing & communication.

Pangea Day, an initiative of the TED Conference, was a 4-hour program of short films, music and talks broadcasted live around the world on television, mobile phones, and the web on May 10, 2008.On the operational side, Becca collectively hired and managed an international team of 80+ consultants, ensuring the team was always on schedule and had necessary resources to complete tasks and was also tasked with reconciling the overall event budget. On the marketing side, Becca was responsible for the creative and copy for the website, mobile site and digital ad campaign, as well as the legal policies.
