As a teaching assistant for the VBISP, I co-directed independent group projects aimed at improving vaccine literacy using informatics and technology; provided 1-on-1 mentoring support for students in the program for PI-mentee relationships, graduate school, and career paths; and helped students synthesize and effectively present their summer research projects to the department of biomedical informatics

As a Sensing and Measurement teaching assistant, I help guide students through the process of building circuits and programming in LabVIEW. I'm also responsible for grading lab reports and share homework grading responsibilities with the other TAs.

As an undergraduate teaching assistant for UC's Chemistry Department, my primary role is to lead first-year chemistry lab experiments, help students link theoretical concepts learned in lectures to real-world applications in lab, grade lab reports, and ensure student safety. I am also one of the first non-chemistry-major undergraduate students to become lead TA.

As a peer mentor, my role is to share my college experience, connect students to campus resources, lead peer mentoring sessions, and offer advice for first-year students to become more confident in their coursework and to help them discover their personal career path.

As an undergraduate teaching assistant for UC's College of Engineering and Applied Science, my primary role is to help students build foundational skills like process design and process analysis; creative problem solving; project management; written, oral, and graphical communication; effective, cross-functional teamwork; and logical thinking. I also help students become comfortable with engineering tools like Excel, Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, Visual Basic, CAD, and rapid prototyping.

During my time at Regeneron, I worked as a member of the PI Team and I had the incredible opportunity to take on multiple roles. To name a few: I was responsible for generating and updating over 14 administrative "how to" help pages which spanned general system maintenance to specific server emergency procedures; I designed and implemented a real-time and historic equipment utilization metrics tool in TIBCO Spotfire; I performed routine system and server maintenance, usability testing, and was responsible for fixing machine and system errors; I co-planned and logistically handled the first annual PMPD Product Expo, aimed at diversifying inter-departmental knowledge about available productivity tools; and I assembled and deployed a unified, server-based, remote desktop application designed to increase productivity and workflow.

Used NX8.5 to build product models from remediated prints, performed engineering analyses in NX and by hand, and updated product documentation to FDA and corporate standards.

Remediated product prints to current FDA and corporate standards, designed and performed testing on several new product lines, participated in final quality check of products before release, operated and maintained industrial sterilization technology for several projects.

Pediatric Neuromodulation LaboratoryDesigned and integrated a hardware-software interface in MATLAB; co-programmed a Python-MATLAB script to fire an electromagnetic pulse, record user response, give real-time feedback, and save data for clinical trials; constructed an interactive graphical user interface to give instructions, interpret electrical signals, and keep Tourette's patients calm and engaged.

Developmental Biology/PsychiatryPerformed behavioral and molecular validation of pharmacologic treatment in mouse models of developmental disability (primarily Fragile X syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder); utilized Golgi-Cox stain and GFP reporter mice to assess dendritic spine density and dendritic morphology; maintained animal colonies; and performed various protein, tissue processing, and RNA techniques.
