Media Instructor
In my role as a Media Instructor at Coventry University's School of Media & Performing Arts, I engaged in instructional design, gaining expertise with learning management systems such as Moodle, Aula, and Lynda.com. I delivered tailored workshops across various Media & Performing Arts courses, accommodating a diverse student body.Outside of teaching, I actively contributed to communities enhancing learning and storytelling, including Adobe Education Exchange, Adobe Spark Insider, Isadora Projection community, Ricoh Theta community, and DJI (UAV Technologies). Passionate about fostering creative networks, I founded "The Skills Circle" in 2014 on Facebook to facilitate networking, skills sharing, and collaborations among students. Other projects I have included Open Badging, Lynda.com initiatives, and documenting immersive telepresence in theatre for an MA research project. Disruptive Educator/Contributer
Adjacent to my role as a Media Instructor in the School of Media & Performing Arts, at Coventry University. I also integrate on external education projects with the Disruptive Media Learning lab (DMLL), the lab has been welcoming, empowering, they have given me a freedom to explore challenges within education that have lead to opportunities. Challenges such as; Cultivating independent learning through blended teaching methods. Identifying what makes a 21st century learner, through skill development, digital literacy and participatory culture.Collaborating with teams made up of researchers, disruptive activators and educators, I have contributed to the success of Lynda.com being rolled out across the University and International partners. Lynda video tutorials are embedded into the instructional design, over various courses with Media. I have been asked to give my feedback with my experience of using this online learning tool."We have used Lynda.com differently in our testing over the least three years. We embed content onto modules, that is relevant to the SOW and learning outcomes. It is to assist the learning outside of the classroom, alongside cultivating ownership of learning within the student. It’s a seriously awesome tool and if you have students who are flying, not really being challenged and/or want to be, point them here..... trust me it keeps them occupied and happy. It's now open to the entire University, so if you could actively encourage your students to engage, it will encourage a richer learning experience."Additional projects have also included open badging & documenting "Immersive Telepresence in Theatre"

Programme Leader
The Challenge is a social enterprise and charity which gives young people in the UK the opportunity to gain a national citizenship award and make a change in their community. It brings together young people from different communities and backgrounds, building confidence, empowering them and challenging them.I Programme-led two waves of young people on the largest national citizen programme in the UK, one being the first ever 'girls wave', to great success with a 97% success rate (feedback gained from young people). Due to the success of this project it has now been rolled out nationally. As a programme leader my job role was to inspire and lead a large team of 18 staff and 60 young people per wave. Making decisions under pressure, being assertive and pro active in my approach. Having the compassion and skill, to deal with social and cultural issues in a pragmatic manner.

My main teaching practice was delivering Media Studies, specifically to the first year of AS-levels. Students developed an understanding of media language and therefor were able to critically analyse different media pieces in context. Students were creatively and technically developed in Adobe software such as indesign and photoshop, in the context of magazine design.I also worked as a personal tutor for both AS and A2 level students, supporting them pastorally and academically with their studies by using individual learning plans and assisting A2 students with their applications to University. While also working at Stafford College, I gained a Level 7 teaching qualification in education (Diploma in the Lifelong Learning Sector) which qualifies me to teach in Further and Higher Education.
Film Production Lecturer
I worked as a sessional lecturer on the undergraduate BSc Film Production Technology course, delivering content on the Digital Image Production module. This involved training and cultivating students' technical approaches to image composition using Adobe Photoshop, standardising students in their first year by evolving basic Photoshop skills to an intermediate level.Compositing was one of the main subjects that students needed to develop, from colour theory, using key-shots, renders and photomontages. We developed some of the content to focus on creative design as well as technical ability. Part of this job role was to mark the assignments and to give back formative feedback on ways in which the students can develop. This was a core module on the undergraduate course, delivering to approx. 170 students per year.
