The Neurological Alliance of Scotland is an umbrella body of organisations that represent people with a neurological condition and those who support them. We work to improve the care and support that people receive.

The National Advisory Committee for Neurological Conditions (NACNC)'s role is to:• provide expert advice on delivery of the National Action Plan for Neurological Conditions, offering views on SG strategic decisions and suggestions on implementation approaches to improve care, treatment and support for people with neurological conditions• contribute to evaluation of the National Action Plan’s implementation, progress and outcomes• advise SG Health and Social Care Directorates on issues relating to neurological conditions across Scotland, including the Waiting Times Improvement Plan, Scottish Access Collaborative and Modern Outpatient Programmes• promote sharing of best practice and ensure appropriate links with the wider neurological community

I am strategic lead for campaigns and communications in Scotland. This involves working at a senior level to optimise communications and campaigning, and influence policy development for the maximum benefit to people affected by MS.

Working on a range of campaign activity including stakeholder engagement, working with the media, project managing short term campaigns. I was solely responsible for managing the Media Volunteers pool and Speakers' Bureau, which supported people with lived experience to share their stories.

Responsible for small grant applications, fundraising events, PR, database and website management for SSNF
