As a business development/project manager, I thrive when helping others, both businesses or individuals, meet their project goals/objectives.Promotional Marketing: Most recently, I pursued my passion to help others meet project goals through promotional marketing in the field of higher education. Education is an exciting and challenging field that required staying current on industry trends for students in many categories—traditional, online, adult and international—to successfully deliver results such as:o Ten consecutive years of enrollment growth including representation of students from every state and an expanding number of students from around the worldRelationship Building: Possibly a facet of project management often not as obvious as the nitty-gritty of getting the project completed, but can be a make-it or break-it part of any project is the process of developing relationships with those directly and indirectly related to the project. Investing in relationship building leads to the following results: o Recognizing an under-served market and cultivating a relationship to penetrate the market with a new marketing strategy result in over 1,000 unique site visitors in the first month. Team Development: I’ve had the honor to be part of many teams and enjoy the process of building relationships and nurturing and developing people and teams and watching seemingly impossible goals be accomplished such as: o Developing and managing a group of internal and external writers generating new web content for over 200 webpages that contributed to an increased in web traffic by 5x in the first two weeks after launch of the new site.

Oversight of designated projects and monitoring of all phases of project flow to ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining consistency of university brand and policies.

The goal of the Enrollment management department is to recruit, retain and promote student success and satisfaction. The Special Events department promotes the university to a variety of audiences through multiple public relations and recruitment activities, programs and events. In this position, I utilized the resources of each area to recruit, guide and support students through university processes, i.e. enrollment, registration, financial aid, etc. I also served as a liaison between students and university departments to identify and resolve obstacles related to enrollment procedures to ultimately secure enrollment of students.
