I have been working within Events and Communications teams for many years and have built on my passion of organising top class events by working for both local and national charities and also high profile government-funded research councils. I have also worked within the Communications teams, which has helped me to learn the skills needed to be an all-round communications professional capable of of working on multiple projects including Events, Press, PR and Marketing. I have gained experience of face to face and community fundraising as well as some aspects of corporate fundraising too. I have also gained experience in working with the press and media, producing publications and corporate documents as well as helping companies in raising awareness and promoting their work, which is something I love getting involved with.I have also volunteered for many years as a football coach and have worked with various local academies and centres of excellence including coaching the Wiltshire representative sides for both boys and ladies teams as well as coaching at a Reading FC Development Centre. I am a Level 2 qualified coach and started coaching boys teams many years ago and have since also coached and managed both girls and ladies football teams to a high standard. The volunteering gave me the opportunity to learn new skills in a sport that I am passionate about, but has also helped me develop as an individual in my everyday and working life.
