Better Heath at Work Award Lead & Health Advocate I administer all aspects of the Academy's HR function. Responsibilities include:-Recruitment to Safer Recruitment Guidelines-New starter documentation including issuing offer letters and contracts-Induction process-DBS processing and maintenance of the SCR-Absence Management including employee welfare, Occupational Health referrals and management of Long-Term sick-Completion of monthly Academy payroll including SSP calculations and pension administration-Advising employees and managers on policies, procedures and employment law-Maintaining accurate personnel records and the HR MIS system-Chairing/note taking at confidential and disciplinary meetings-Producing employee letters including Maternity/Paternity and contract variations-Maintaining CPD records-Better Health at Work Award Coordinator

Manage recruitment activities - Advertise vacancies. Monitor and short list applicants. Arrange and conduct interviews. Provide feedback. Record recruitment statistics. Deal with recruitment queries.Process new starters. Ensure relevant documentation is on file. Request references. Set up personnel files. Write and issue contracts, offer letters and contract changes. Minute confidential meetings.Maintain employee annual leave documentation. Issue staff ID badges. Maintain employee and college confidentiality.
