About Becky Whittaker

I am a Registered General Nurse with 26 years of clinical experience, primarily in palliative and end of life care delivery and management across a range of settings including voluntary hospice and community care. An experienced educator relating to a range of interprofessional courses focused on palliative and end of life care delivery. I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), an acknowledgement of my skill and expertise in teaching palliative and end of life care.My research experience is related to the evaluation of palliative care education. Most recent research project was to pilot and evaluate a newly developed communication skills training resource based on conversation analysis.
