In my role, I managed and oversaw 9 PAL Leaders, conducted monthly reviews and one-to-one meetings, observed their sessions, and provided feedback. I further ran one-to-one mentoring sessions to foster personal growth and reflection. Additionally, I have completed the ILM Level 3 in Effective Mentoring to enhance my mentoring capabilities. Provided mentorship to first-year Business Management with Marketing students, assisting them as theyembarked on their university journey and offering support throughout their initial academic experience.

Throughout my three-month employment, I engaged in various marketing activities, spanning paid advertising, SEO optimisation, email marketing and social media management. I established and configured their social media dashboard, curating compelling content and captions, scheduling posts through the end of 2024 to support consistent website traffic. I additionally established their email marketing infrastructure, ensuring regular delivery of newsletters and legal updates. Furthermore, I authored legal blogs to accompany scheduled posts, further refining my copyright skills while adhering to legal protocols. I further compiled several reports on the firm’s year-over-year performance from 2022 to 2023/24, analysing data and customer journeys, extracting valuable insights to inform strategic marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing brand visibility and driving business growth.

During my placement year within the Amazon Fashion Homepage team, I held a multifaceted role encompassing numerous responsibilities. This included creating and executing the monthly homepage campaigns across EU5. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, I created engaging copy for translation, gathered inputs and devised targeting strategies aimed at improving conversion rates based on past performance data. Utilising various dashboards including Tableau, I tracked performance metrics, conducting comprehensive data analysis and deep dives to extract valuable insights. As SME for Softlines targeting, I led the planning and implementation of A/B experiments, assessing their efficacy and sharing post-mortem analysis with wider programs to refine approaches and drive continuous improvement. In addition to identifying key growth drivers, I regularly shared noteable results during monthly stakeholder meetings, contributing to the adoption of effective strategies and optimisation of processes to enhance the overall customer journey. I further gained proficiency in constructing landing pages, crafting SOPs, and writing supporting documentation to streamline operations towards maximising team productivity and bandwidth.As “Intern Champion” I reflected on interns (anonymous) scores to workplace questions within listening sessions, creating action items to address towards maintaining an empowering team culture.

Managed the overall operations of the Sports Facilities, communicated with hirers and arranged bookings. Alongside maintaining finances, cashing-up and everyday health and safety/ risk assessment of the facilities. This opportunity improved my managerial skills, alongside communication and delegation within my Lifeguard team.

Responsibilities included overall pool safety and quick response in emergency situations. Conducted pool tests, safeguarded users and assisted customers and hirers in the sports facilities. Promoted to Duty Manager.

Planned, organised and led my DL Kids Classes, communicating with children and their guardians, ensuring their safety through safeguarding and upholding David Lloyd values. These experiences have further shaped my leadership style, improving my communication skills and professional attitude.

Responsibilities included overall Pool Safety, First-Aid, Water Quality and Safeguarding. Lifeguarding developed my concentration and ability to multi-task while ensuring members safety.

At PLC I worked efficiently to deadlines, problem-solved independently and developed my communication skills in a professional setting, alongside strengthening my MS Office Skills.

Two of my favourite projects included illustrating a Childrens Christmas Book and constructing the 2021 Wall Chart for Footsure (Gardiner Bros). Both tested two sides of my design skills which I really enjoyed developing.
