Supported a team of thirteen specialized educators working throughout New Hampshire with children who are blind or visually impaired. Spearheaded the development of statewide guidelines for the education of children who are blind or visually impaired, making New Hampshire only the sixth state in the country with such guidelines in place.

Manchester, NH

• Restructured this 25-year old initiative for low-income, first generation, diverse students from a three-year enrichment program to a six-year college access program
• Executed a complex program shift over three years and negotiated a partnership agreement with Southern NH University to extend programming through high school for Breakthrough students
• Increased fundraising by 89% over a four-year period and grew the donor base by 44% in the same period
• Revamped 8-day Training Institute for Teaching Fellows in lesson planning, classroom management, teamwork, conflict resolution and working with diverse student populations
• Redesigned website and communications strategy to increase donor and stakeholder engagement, including a 62% increase in Facebook followers
• Diversified and enhanced funding streams to include increased corporate sponsorship, foundation grants, Title IIA federal funding, major donors and family foundations
