Whilst attaining my degree in Management Practice, I am working full-time for Bourne Leisure in various leaderships roles. Yearly, as part of the programme, I will move to different parts of the business (Butlins, Haven Holidays and Warner Leisure Hotels) and work in different operations with different teams, vastly increasing my technical knowledge and leadership skills.

The primary role of a lifeguard is to ensure the highest standards of safety are upheld at all times within the venue. Teamwork and communication is vital, with an operation of upwards of 25 lifeguards on shift at one time. I was extremely proud to see them flourish as young people, developing their relationship-building skills and cultivating some long-lasting friendships.
