Although currently in the Hospitality Industry, i have previously been employed by the Isle of Wight Council as a 2nd Line support officer. This reignited my passion for technology, leading me to decide to pursue a career in ICT. While employed with the Isle of Wight Council i worked as part of a project to allow all employees to have access to agile working, this included implementing VPN software and running 1-on-1 training sessions to assist users in using their new equipment to it's full potential.Additionally in this position, i would join the Service Desk team, and help with their day-to-day tasks with calls coming in and upholding ITIL practices, this included site visits to repair and replace faulty equipment, or over the phone support to users contacting the team.
