Helping member and non-member companies get the supplies they need in order to stay in compliance and make their company run properly. As the Director of Communications/Events/Advertising, I plan and execute all events, large and small, for KMCA. I coordinate all communication that goes out to members. I edit and design, as well as, handle all advertising for our yearly membership directory. I also help the executive director with legislative issues. I help with our truck services department, which handles, tagging, IRP renewls and any other IRP issues.

Handle internal communication efforts, including monthly employee newsletter and internal website. Assist manager with news releases, media calls, public meetings and other public involvement activities.

Supervise public relations and communication efforts for the state association which represents registered nurses. Serve as managing editor for monthly peer-reviewed journal. Coordinate monthly and yearly recruitment mailings. Coordinate all activities related to grant opportunities, including research and writing.
