I've been involved with the Male Survivors Partnership since the launch of the Male Quality Standards in 2017 and my current role of Communications and Membership Lead is focused on communicating with the membership to ensure a clear flow of information and to communicate with the public at large.I have also organised, with the support of the board of the Male Survivors Partnership, its inaugural symposium in Manchester (see link). The event saw service providers, professionals, commissioning managers and representatives from the NHS and government departments, come together to share knowledge about how to improve standards of support for male survivors of unwanted sexual experiences.

Within 12 months, I worked on a vast array of tasks to support Survivors Manchester. This included the following (not exhaustive):* Media support and social engagement around the male rape storyline in Coronation Street* Attending a research/fact finding session with members of the cast, researchers, storywriters, and producers from Hollyoaks for the #BreakTheSilence storyline* Media support and social engagement around the #BreakTheSilence storyline in Hollyoaks * Entering the North West Charity awards and subsequently achieving five awards* Supporting the pioneering 'Healing Through the Community' initiative - attending planning meetings, working on the launch and supporting with PR and social* Working with a survivor to share his story with the national media and securing exclusives with Victoria Derbyshire and the Daily Mirror * Working with the SMT to communicate all aspects of the office move and organised an open day for all key stakeholders* Launching a Christmas appeal * Working with the SMT to celebrate Survivors Manchester's 10th birthday via PR and social*Managing all Survivors Manchester's social media channels* Working with the CEO and external video consultant on Survivors Manchester's video content* Working with the CEO and external agency on Survivors Manchester's new website

Responsible for collaboratively creating and implementing a social media strategy to drive forward Transport for Greater Manchester's online presence.Played a leading role in communicating key messages surrounding a multi million pound programme of major, publicly funded civil engineering projects, and high profile public transport services, initiatives and campaigns across numerous social media platforms.
