A press freedom advocate and journalist with more than 20 years of experience in the media industry. Beh currently leads the Asia team at the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), a global organisation dedicated to defending press freedom worldwide. She manages a team of researchers, and oversees CPJ's advocacy and assistance work in the region. She regularly engages with high-level government officials, diplomats, policymakers and international organisations to promote press freedom, and with the aim of bringing justice for journalists who were jailed or killed for their work.
