I am a research fellow at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, where I conduct research in the NLP field, focusing on the automatic interpretation and enrichment of semistructured data. I have a master's degree in computer science from the same university, where I graduated with honors in 2020.Before re-joining the university, I worked as a data scientist and a project leader at OROBIX, a company that provides AI solutions for various industries. There, I was part of a five-people computer vision group, where I developed and applied state-of-the-art techniques in the field of unsupervised domain adaptation, self-supervised learning and visual transformers to various tasks and domains. I also supervised a small team of three people on a reinforcement learning project, where I implemented and used standard algorithms, such as A2C, A3C, PPO, SAC, Dreamer and curiosity-based algorithms. This particular experience converged in a distributed RL framework called SheepRL (https://github.com/Eclectic-Sheep/sheeprl), which I am a maintainer of. I gained valuable experience in working with interdisciplinary teams, interacting with clients, organizing and maintaining company repositories, advising technical thesis, and writing documents.I am passionate about advancing the field of AI and applying it to meaningful and impactful problems. I am eager to learn new skills, collaborate with diverse and talented people, and contribute to the organization's vision and goals.
