Lead the development and implementation of student engagement and management strategies within the sub-school. Responsibilities include:· Work with the Head of Sub-School (HoSS) team and relevant Principal class to develop and implement school wide student management systems and processes and to communicate these to staff.· Establish and implement systems and process for monitoring and promoting student attendance, engagement, wellbeing and progress.· Support, coach and provide relevant professional development for sub-school coordinators· Provide support and guidance for classroom teachers in understanding and implementing school wide approaches to engagement and classroom management.· Build positive and collaborative relationships with staff, students and families to support student success

Provide leadership and management to the Mathematics Professional Learning Community (PLC) by overseeing the curriculum, staff, budget, and resources. Responsibilities include:· Lead a Professional Learning Community to:· focus on learning (student learning, professional learning, professional dialogue and sharing of practice).· develop and implement a guaranteed and viable curriculum· engage in professional dialogue, reflective practice, and collaboration· achieve best practice relating to the design and implementation of the curriculum, learning and teaching, assessment, and reporting· actively use available data to inform and enhance teaching and learning practices.· foster a climate conducive to professional discourse and collaboration utilising data, contemporary educational research, issues, trends, and practices· ensure that courses of study are implemented effectively and that learning, and teaching resources are updated on a regular basis on the College network· develop and implement assessments, including the preparation of examination papers

Lead, manage and empower staff and students in providing effective student management and curriculum delivery to year level cohorts. Responsibilities include:· Establish and implement the Mentoring curriculum, providing support and resources to Mentor staff· Daily student management, such as attendance, uniform, behavioural issues and fostering staff capacity to establish and maintain correct school policies· Identify students ‘at risk’ and make the appropriate referrals to areas such as welfare and pathways and transitions· Manage and distribute student ‘at risk’ registers to all staff· Lead student support group meetings and suspension meetings, including all relevant documentation· Coordinate and facilitate National Assessments such as NAPLAN, On Demand· Coordinate and facilitate year-level examination procedures and policies (7-11)· Support colleagues in their application of the curriculum and student learning behaviour policies and provide advice and feedback· Provide mediation for students, staff, and parents in conflict resolution· Develop and encourage student voice with cohorts of student leaders to connect with the school and wider community· Provide students with positive experiences and opportunities via parent information evenings, award ceremonies, school productions, graduation ceremonies, camps, sporting events, excursions, and conferences.· Initiate and strengthen links with external agencies to support our students, such as Anglicare, Hume Council, The Smith Family, etc

Lead, manage and support the Student Welfare team to promote student engagement and wellbeing. The SW team consisted of Student Welfare Coordinators, Youth Workers, School Psychologist, School Nurses, Northern Metropolitan Region (NMR) student support service officers and a variety of external agencies to support our young people. Responsibilities included:· Development and implementation of school policies· Facilitate student welfare meetings, ensuring case management logs are up to date and accurate through consultation with team members· Provide professional development to all staff regarding student welfare initiatives and relevant departmental updates, such as Anaphylaxis· Successfully acquire additional funding through grants/scholarships to provide student resources to enhance student attendance, engagement, and relationships.· Liaise with regional networks, external agencies, and community partnerships to provide ongoing support to young people at school and beyond
