Policy And Program Analyst
Current•Lead staff for system-wide committees and workgroups including: President’s Advisory Council on Student Veterans, UCUES Steering Committee and IR Directors Workgroup, Assistant/Associate Vice Chancellors-Deans of Students, Directors of Student Life, Student Mental Health Initiative Award, Counseling and Psychological Services Directors, CARE Managers, Office of Students with Disabilities Directors, Student Health Services Directors, Living Well for Students Workgroup, DOJ Steering Committee, UC Student Health Insurance Program (SHIP) Implementation Group, and UC Honorary Degree Project•Research on and revisions to current and proposed Student Affairs/Services programs and policies and on proposed new or altered programs and policies•Reports and recommendations to Board of Regents and State Legislature related to promoting student academic success, providing student resources, enhancing student wellbeing, issues and programs with impact on student mental health and wellbeing, student crisis and behavior intervention, alcohol and other substance abuse, and vulnerable and specific student populations •Utilize management skills, develop collaborative efforts among department personnel, promote teamwork, and maintain diligence on short- and long-term projects•Responsible for specific major actions and work with system-wide and campus committees, task forces, and initiatives including drafting proposal for Student Mental Health Initiative funds resulting in $6.9 million award to develop, enhance and expand existing campus student mental health services•Oversee external requests to access and utilize University of California Undergraduate Experience Survey (UCUES)
