Managed the function and staffing of the office of the Executive Director (ED), Ms. Ophelia Dahl, with a focus on improving the communication of key strategic direction from the Office of the ED to all program site leadership as well as representing the voice of the ED in meetings across the organizational landscape.• Worked alongside the ED to identify and prioritize the highest value organizational objectives and, subsequently, ensure that her allocation of effort reflected those priorities. • Supervised two staff members in the office of the ED. Created greater efficiencies and higher productivity in the ED Office by mapping out all activities and delegating lower value functions to other departments while increasing time spent on higher value initiatives.

Designed and assumed the role of the first dedicated position at PIH focused exclusively on Board management and stewardship. Along with guidance from the Executive Director and Chief Strategy Officer, managed the key strategic initiatives of the Board, crafted Board agendas for 10+ meetings per year and managed a fundraising portfolio totaling $US15MM. • Redesigned the overall Board structure including creation of PIH’s Board of Trustees (addition of 35 new members), new committee structure (3 new committees) and task forces focused on key organizational priorities. • Met weekly with PIH Board members to enhance and increase their involvement with organizational activities. Traveled with PIH Board members to six PIH program sites to introduce them to the site-specific innovative work and dedicated staff responsible for program implementation. • Significantly increased Board giving (by 25%) by expanding the overall Board structure, increasing the number of Board members visiting program sites, and better aligning Board member interests with organizational goals.
