Since the age of 16 I have been experimenting with electronics, building various circuits and teaching myself from books and online resources. After graduating high school, I have been studying in post secondary as an Electrical and Electronics Engineering student at the University of British Columbia's Okanagan campus.I have knowledge in many facets of electronics. To start, I am experienced in electronics system design, schematic design, and PCB design. I have worked as an electronics manufacturer as well as an electronics repair tech, working alongside other technicians, which has given me skills in soldering, micro soldering, and electronics repair. From personal projects and club projects at UBC Okanagan I have developed skills relating to revising, reviewing, and designing circuit schematics and PCBs. I have also learned multiple languages for programming such as GNU Octave, MATLAB, C++, Python, Microsoft Visual Basic Application, and some smaller scripting languages such as Bash (Linux Terminal) and Batch (CMD).My knowledge with electronics continues into my hobbies, as I am an electronics hobbyist and amateur radio operator. I have learned many practical applications and design strategies from building my own circuits and devices. Alongside that, I have learned about communication systems and how to design and tune basic antennas, set up radios, and communicate, for amateur and commercial radio use.Other non-related hobbies of mine include improvisational piano, sport shooting, cycling, off-roading, hiking, and camping.
