Improving the patient and provider experience through user research + design.

Designed a new platform for college students to build community and share advice around their career interests.

Part of the first cohort of student design interns to improve the technology and digital experience for the UC San Diego Library. Redesigned library web pages, increased web accessibility using SiteImprove, coded custom HTML/CSS components, created custom graphics and posters, and conducted UX research. Notable project: Led a team of 4 to redesign a core library web page and its information architecture using Figma. Coded finalized designs using HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Collaborated closely with stakeholders to ensure user satisfaction. Conducted user research through surveys, interviews, and a UXtweak study.

Designed branding elements and flyers for workshops that bring computer science education to underserved high school students in San Diego. Maintained the organization’s official website andsocial media accounts.

Identified challenges in virtual reality (VR) content moderation. Observed social interactions on VR platforms and interviewed moderators. Synthesized findings and helped write a research paper published in ACM CHI 2023. Advised by Dr. Steven Dow.
