As a development intern, I assisted the development team throughout the affordable housing development process:-Processing asset management documents to prepare properties for closing on LIHTCs. -Processing invoices in excel for weekly draws in the construction process-Financial data entry and analysis-Demographic database management and entry-Research for community outreach and education-GIS Property mapping

I work on a data analytics team, under the guidance of a Professor, to develop a food insecurity survey for UW Tacoma students. We will launch the survey and analyze the resulting data in Qualtrics. I work alongside fellow students on the data analytics team as well as with a marketing team. Upon completion we will present our findings to stakeholders on campus.

I am working on a team of 3 other students, under the guidance of a local professional planner, to research and propose ways that Pacific County, WA can ensure they meet and/or exceed state requirements for housing projections. We will use GIS to further work on a housing capacity analysis and project how housing capacity could change under proposed zoning or policy changes. Throughout the project we will have regular meetings with county officials as well as several presentations to stakeholders and decision makers in the county.

I grade students work, review appropriate course materials, create documents, and occasionally stand in for casual class sessions when the Professor is unavailable.I assist with urban studies courses and in the past have assisted with introductory GIS.
