Marketing Manager
CurrentLuther Manor, as a 55+-year-old organization, had reached a point where its rich history needed to be looked at with fresh eyes. In 2016, I was privileged to be a part of a strategic planning effort with officers, directors and board members. I was able to spend several days of many months pouring over what makes Luther Manor great and what challenges it was facing. The result of these meetings was a new vision, a fine-tuned mission statement, and a set of strategic goals and objectives to guide us.In late 2016 & early 2017, I was charged with creating a new logo (along with colors, fonts, and usage guidelines) that better reflected where Luther Manor was going. Spring of 2017 saw the launch of a newly designed and platformed website, all new sales & marketing literature, new internal communications & templates, and a refined strategic marketing plan that met the goals and objectives established the year prior. I oversee and involved in the design and implementation of our external and internal print communications, paid digital advertising efforts, website design and content development, SEO optimization, social media efforts, and video storytelling. Additionally, I'm responsible for reporting on the outcomes of our lead generation and overall marketing efforts. Other highlights include: leading our communication and implementation efforts around our employee engagement survey (with a goal of reaching 90% participation) and a campus-wide access control initiative which required new name badges for our 900 employees and volunteers; evaluating and making recommendations around previous marketing efforts and their associated costs; streamlining and improving our external and internal communication efforts and; developing a content marketing strategy used in both social media, email communications and our website.
