Hello! My name is Ben Barton and I'm a Technical Product Manager at Amazon and the Founder of ErgBot (acquired March 2024). At Amazon I’ve worked across four teams at Amazon including e-commerce, healthcare, transportation, and music.I also founded and developed a rowing app called ErgBot, that uses computer vision to automate a tedious task rowing teams are forced to complete thousands of times a season. The app launched on the App store on 10/16/18 and now has 8.3k+ unique users across 70+ countries, and 600+ team-tier users across 30+ rowing teams. We did 100% of the development work in-house, and I personally contributed over 50% of the codebase as of launch. In March 2024, ErgBot was acquired by Power Ten Metrics (https://power10metrics.com/), a rowing technology company publicly launching in the fall.I graduated Penn's Wharton School of Business in 2018 where I studied Business Analytics, Management, and Entrepreneurship. My extracurricular involvements included serving as Co-President of Weiss Tech House - Penn's tech entrepreneurship organization, being a four-year member of Penn's Varsity Lightweight Rowing Team, and working as a Research Assistant for Professor Lynn Wu in her work on A.I.'s impact on business.
