I thrive in the remote and harsh environments of our planet—particularly the high and cold ones. Risk assessment, risk management and proper training are the keys to being prepared for a safe and successful project whether it is an industrial installation, research project, summit expedition or a simple recreational escape. With experience in remote regions of Alaska, Patagonia, winters aboard an icebreaking research ship in Antarctica and as far "away" as a radio telescope near the Antarctic pole of inaccessibility I have gained the unique skills to be successful in these environments. I also really do like being comfortable and thoroughly enjoy tropical diving, paragliding, car camping and a great cup of coffee.
