At General Mills, I am responsible for the Corporate Governance, Corporate and Securities Law, Compensation and Benefits, and Record Management legal practices. I also serve as the point person for orchestrating the full calendar of board and committee meetings on behalf of the board of directors and senior leadership team. Additionally, I am responsible for coordinating and overseeing the company’s annual meeting and corporate governance related shareholder engagements throughout the year. I began my legal career at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. As a senior associate, I led teams that were focused on corporate governance and regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, and securities offerings.I currently serve as the President of the Society for Corporate Governance (Twin Cities Chapter), and regularly speak at regional and national corporate governance events. I also serve on the Board of the American Red Cross (Minnesota and Dakotas Region).
