Studied grant narrative writing. Wrote grant narrative for our current 21st Century program. Also applied and won a grant from Massachusetts Life Sciences Center as part of their International Space Station Challenge. Won a grant in 2015 to send a tadpole experiment to the International Space Station. Was responible for obtaining over $30,000 in equipment and funds during the 2015-2016 school year. Applied and won a $15,000 grant to expand our Project Lead the Way during the 2016-2017 school year.

Duties included recruiting ELL and SPED students, hiring teachers, filling out payroll forms, developing curriculum, working with teachers to build more attractive activities which included subtle ELA activities. Responsible for all data gathering (all SAYO forms) and data analysis.

I teach 8th grade math. I've developed an entire curriculum based around the Eno Board smartboard system using Easilearn software. My students explore these interactive lessons and discuss and discover interesting new mathematical material along the way. The Origami Bonsai Company was formed as a creative media development agency. We specialize in photography, websites, videography, and marketing. We're also pioneers in the application of discrete teaching and learning methods to increase traffic to client websites.

Applied what I learned in marketing and PR for my books to local not-for-profits. Developed and maintained websites, training seminars, public relations, publicity, and communications (including videos) for many Rhode Island organizations including the Coalition for Payday Lending Reform, Rhode Island Communities for Addiction Recovery Efforts, the Anchor Recovery Community Center, and the Ocean State Artisans.

I teach mathematics to a group of inner-city young people every Saturday. College Crusaders specializes in finding students that have the potential to go to college, but that have gaps in their skills. I try to fill those gaps, and instill a deep appreciation for mathematics that these students might not otherwise obtain.
