The responsibilities of my current post include, but are not limited too: Internal lab audits (lab file audits, lab site safety audits), method validation/verification, performing TMA's (Test Method Assessments), sample testing, sample retention, keeping the lab clean and orderly, the packaging and shipment of dangerous goods, e.g. fuel samples, sample acceptance, reporting results of said samples, communicating with the various customers of SGS, keeping up to date with SQC (statistical quality control) work to 6 sigma standards, being a first aid responder, ordering operational materials for the lab, creating PO's for customer jobs, using the LIMS system in the lab (SLIM) to link sample PO's, log in and report samples. It is important in my role that I remain flexible, and perform my duties with integrity and in a punctual fashion.
