As the NDT Sales Engineer for Mason Technology my primary responsibilities are Sales , Management and Development of the Evident/Olympus product portfolio. Our extensive range of products include XRF ( X Ray Fluorescence) RVI ( Remote Visual Inspection ) and NDT (Non – Destructive Testing ) technologies. As the official Irish distributor for the Evident /Olympus Industrial Business I am responsible for all our customers across the island of Ireland. My role involves working closely with current and potential customers to ensure that they are aware of the current product range from Evident/Olympus by providing them with the most appropriate piece of equipment for their industrial applications. When working with prospective new clients I regularly visit site to conduct live demonstrations and answer questions , this gives customers the opportunity to work with the equipment in real time, gain some practical hands-on experience and see the value of our products and services first hand.In addition to my main sales role , I maintain strong relationships with existing customers by providing technical support and manufacturer training as needed. I also work closely with the Mason Technology Marketing team to promote our company and the Evident/Olympus products and services to a wider audience across a broad range of sectors. As a qualified NDT and Welding Inspector for approx. 10 years I have a clear understanding and overview of the NDT industry in Ireland and the products and services that specific companies in the multiple sectors require. Coupled with my NDT experience and manufacturer specific training I have a clear understanding of the three technology platforms we support , their applications and use this knowledge and experience to support the ever-growing customer base for these technologies across Ireland.
