● Designed all parts for autonomous movement using Google Sketchup, Autodesk and Openscad.● Produced parts to a high tolerance through 3d printing by using my CNC skills.● Built firmware to make wheelie bins capable of positioning themselves at the back of the collection truck without the need for collection personnel.● Created custom PCB for movement and control with Bluetooth, Wifi, Gps, logging, motor drivers, distance sensors and power management.● Built Android app to control, monitor and schedule tasks in Java using Android studio.● Implemented communication between microcontroller and app through Bluetooth and WIFI.Leveraged knowledge in Git, Eclipse IDE, Atmel 32-bit microcontrollers programmed in C++ using Atmel Studio IDE and debugged using an Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Memory Analyzer, and JTAG/SWD debugging interface.
