Pine Cove Chimney Point is a Christian family camp. One camp session consists of one week, and there are new families every week. One camp session can hold as many as 32 families, all with high expectations for camp. In my time serving as a camp counselor, the main part of the job was versatility. That being said, it was necessary that I was ready to handle any situation in front of me, whether dealing with kids who weren't cooperating or serving the families food. Acting as the bible study leader for my cabin was another challenge to the job. Having a cabin full of 10 year-old boys means that they will easily get distracted, so its necessary to have the ability to be engaging, even in a bible study. This job also required a unique ability of teamwork, unlike any other job I have seen before. It was important to communicate and work together with the other counselors to ensure the natural flow of camp for the families.

Moore's Mill Club is a prestigious country club located in Auburn, Alabama. The Moore's Mill Fitness center consists of a gym with cardio machines, free weights, and rooms designated each for pilates, aerobic activities, and spin classes. The fitness center also oversees the activity of the tennis and pickleball courts. As a front desk attendant, I was the face of the fitness center. The responsibilities of the front desk attendant are various, but the main idea is to serve the fitness center however it is needed. Front desk attendants check in clients and handle the transaction between the club and clients for training sessions, or equipment purchases and rentals. I also was in charge of maintaining order in the fitness center by rearranging equipment, cleaning the floors, organizing or restocking the locker rooms, etc. Serving as a front desk attendant highlights my ability to have an eye for something that needs to be done, and have the work ethic to get it done for the good of the fitness center.

The Auburn University Club is a country club closely tied to Auburn University and its golf team. There are hundreds of members, most with high expectations for the quality of the country club and the golf course. Due to this, the cart staff are held to a high standard because they are basically the "spine" of the operation of the golf course. As cart staff, I was responsible for the setting up and closing down of the driving range, including facilitating getting enough golf balls from the range using the picker. Furthermore, I was responsible for maintaining the rotation of 60 golf carts, coordinating the most efficient rotations to ensure every golf cart is equally used, properly cleaned, and prepared for use. Beyond the general duties, I was responsible for cleaning up the premises around the clubhouse, purchasing inventory for the pro shop, and helping in any way necessary for the well-being of the club.

Tailgate Guys is a company that provides tailgating services for college football games. The tailgating operation is very complex and has many different parts that are crucial for successfully serving clients. As a bellhop, I was mainly responsible for transporting the clients' TVs, food, chairs, and more to their tailgate to improve their game-day experience. Beyond helping the clients unpack and pack up their stuff, I was responsible for facilitating to my designated zone of campus. In my zone, I worked with a team of 2-3 guys to check in with the clients periodically, make sure their generator has enough gasoline, bring them ice if needed, and help them with anything they need. Following game-day, we came back to campus the next day to clean the entire area and help pack up the tents, tables, linens, etc. Serving as a bellhop taught me a work ethic due to long hours on the weekends, but it also showed me how rewarding it is to work diligently.
