During the summer months I will be coaching kids at British Soccer Camps for children from as young as 3 and up to 16 years old. These camps will be centred on the children having fun while learning basic and advanced soccer skills. Allied to this I will be responsible for leading a team of coaches from week to week ensuring their needs are met and that their performance is up to company standards. After the summer camps I will move to the Club Trainer Programme. This will involve working with one club through coaching their various teams, leading coach education for volunteers and carrying out match analysis. I will also be assisting Challenger's Regional Director in promotional work for the British Soccer Camps.

This was my second spell working with Challenger and I requested the opportunity to gain experience in another region and was offered Canada. Being a more experienced coach I was given more responsibility and took on the role of camp director a number of times.

In April 2013 I began a six week placement within the Irish FA in their Community Relations Department working directly with the Club Development Officer.I was involved in the roll out of the new Club Education Development Pack and the introduction of a Club Mark scheme. I was also working on updating information held by the association on registered football clubs such as location, facilities and details of competing teams. This was then recorded on excel for use in the on-going development of a club mapping system.

I volunteered to officiate as a referee for Sheffield Hallams intramural leagues, both 6-a-side and 11-a-side.

This involved taking grassroots football sessions on Saturday mornings for kids aged as young as 3 and up to 14 years old. I also helped co-ordinate after school sessions compromised of fun games based around football skills.

Sacramento, California. Coached at soccer camps throughout the summer of 2012. This varied from working with children as young as 3 years old to more advanced players in their late teens. I was also responsible for directing some camps and taking care of administrative duties.
