Current• Moved to Pension Management Consultant role in September 2022.• Additional role of Engagement Champion• Project management for external clients In my previous role at BW I was a member of the GMP Reconciliation team, which involved:• Liaising with HMRC and attending GMP forums as part of the GMP reconciliation project.• Experienced and integral member of the GMP reconciliation team. I have become the “go to” team member for GMP and HMRC related queries and colleagues will seek out my opinion and advice.• Covering for the Team Leader for 3 months while he was absent and during his phased return, during which time there was no drop in productivity or communication.• I also was asked to chair and run the quarterly office wide meetings. This included arranging the meeting time, venue and agenda. • Analysing member and GMP data in order to resolve discrepancies. • Producing/drafting detailed update/analysis reports for Trustee meetings both from templates and bespoke. • Communication and meetings with scheme Trustees.• Creating a working network with the business across all levels of colleagues from trainees to Partners. • Calculation of fees for the projected work. • Liaising with scheme actuaries. • Working and managing the reconciliations for a range schemes and taking the scheme rules and Trustee decisions in to consideration during this process.• Using both automated and manual calculations. • Deputising for the team leader.• Delegation and allocation of work. • Updating and designing spreadsheets/reports to bring efficiency to the reconciliations.• Promotion in job level D in January 2018.• Promotion in job level C in June 2022.
