I am keen to begin a research career in the growing fields of tissue engineering and personalised medicine. I am particularly interested in the clean meat sector, this new field of tissue engineering has potential in revolutionising diets, improving global warming, public health and animal welfare. Regenerative medicine and cell based therapies are another interest of mine. I spent 4 months at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology working on a project to treat Type II Diabetes by genetically engineering skeletal muscle tissue. I would love to prove myself on the front line of these new fields of study that I believe will revolutionise both the medical and food industries.
