Currently supporting the Nelson Platform as the Onshore Operations Support Engineer-Support the Facility Manager in building of a clear, shared vision, of ‘no harm to people and protect the environment’, -Assist in developing the Operational aspects of the facility HSSE plan-Manage the Ops/Surveillance Team in prioritising support to the facility-Identify and drive improvement opportunities- Develop an effective working relationship with the OIM & Ops. Supervisor -Implement and maintain a robust Root Cause Analysis process through the MTO (Manage Threats and Opportunities) process, Nelson MTO Focal point -Accountable for the application of MOC (Management Of Change) process, Nelson MOC focal pointHSSESupport the Facility Manager in building of a clear, shared vision, of ‘no harm to people and protect the environment’, using visible and felt leadership skills to inspire HSSE performance improvement amongst staffDevelop the Operational aspects of the facility HSSE plan.

The Nelson Platform produces ~20000 Barrels of oil per day, from both platform wells and subsea satellite wells. The platform uses artificial gas lift to aid oil recovery, lift gas is provided by the 3 stage RB211- turbine driven gas compressor. The equipment operated as a Snr. Operations Technician on the Nelson platform:• Wellhead operations,• Oil process and export, • Oil & Gas metering, • Oil Pigging Facilities,• Gas Dehydration, Compression, Artificial gas lift and export,Roles and responsibilities • Carry out routine and adhoc Well Integrity Tests (W.I.T), • Complete pre and post startup checks • Assist with emergency duties as required by the OIM, • Aide in the recovery of plant, from any emergency or unplanned shutdown event, to reduce loss of production

CRT- For the Receiving facilty of the Langeled Pipeline, transporting natural Gas from the Norwegian continental shelf to the UK gas market.Gaining experience in the role of Control Room technician, in a high capacity and critically important gas terminal.
