I have worked in the retail sector for over 20 years in various roles throughout Woolworths Ltd and also most recently Fresh and Save Ltd. Throughout this time I have been able to build an excellent number of skills that had helped me to progress through the company and into management, including dealing with customers and staff, inventory management and stocktake, adhering to WHS and food safety policies, training and developing new employees and adhering to numerous other policies in regards to internal and external requirements. I have decided it is time for a career change and I have been studying using the CompTIA platform to gain numerous certifications, including the A+, Network+ and most recently the Security+. Currently I am studying for the CySA+ and AWS Cloud Practitioner certifications to help develop my skillset to obtain employment in the cybersecurity field. In the future I would like to see myself working as an SOC analyst with the ambition to move into Certified Ethical Hacking.
