I have lots of experience with plant machines as I’ve drove them since I was 6 years old doing multiple jobs alongside my dad. I’ve also done a bit of fabrication work as I’m a hands on person.During the last year of secondary school I started working at a farm and I continued this for 2 years as I really enjoyed it , I’ve completed many roles in this job such as , tractor driving , fabricator , maintenance on implements and machinery, handling animals (cattle , horses , sheep ). But as I wanted to move up the ladder I started to work as a machine driver , driving such as diggers , mini diggers , dozers , dumpers , telehandler and more. As of this I worked at a recycling yard where I gained plenty of experience working with others and learning more about machine as I worked with crushers , screeners and diggers. During this role I did all the maintenance on the machines , servicing them and repairing them. Because of this job I put a lot of hours in so I worked nights aswell to keep on top of the work but I enjoy working nights. While I was working here I did my digger test ( 10 tonn upwards ) , my dozer test and dumper truck test. And because of these I got offered a job at M Lambs construction so I started with them and as of now I work on site driving all types of machines and carrying out different jobs such as footings for houses , ponds for storm water, stripping large areas and much more.
