Responsible for recruiting technicians with the skills and qualifications to carry out required repairs to a high standard expected by customers. Supervise technicians’ performance and arrange training programs to keep the team’s skills/qualifications up to date. Prepare schedules and plan staff duty rotations to ensure that servicing and repairs are completed in a timely manner. Hold monthly service department meetings and perform quarterly reviews to ensure that all members of the team understand the importance of customer satisfaction and develop training programs to improve customer service and standards. Budget and purchase equipment, such as diagnostic tools, that will improve quality, productivity and efficiency in the service department. Continue to build good relationships with existing customer/client base and creating new with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Identify and adjust opening times to meet customer requirements with the aim of long-term revenue and profitability for the company.

Shop Foreman/Service Manager. Consult with customers to determine all customers’ complaints/Issues. Responsible for supervising 19 bay shop, Allocate work to Technicians, Provide customers with quotes and time required for repair.. Time and close work orders. sign off on technician time sheets. Maintain shop tools and all equipment required for safe daily business.Perform diagnostics on Engines, Aftertreatment systems on CAT, Cummins and Paccar engines, Determine cause of component failure and report to Customer or warranty administrator. Work with Tech support and DFSE’s.

Drumheller/Rocky Mtn House

Perform diagnostics on engine, abs and drivelines to a variety of Manufacturers trucks including International, Peterbilt, Kenworth and Mack Perform major overhauls on CAT, Cummins and Maxxforce engines. Carry out performance maintenance and keep records up to date. Shop foreman; supervise the training of all technicians (online and on the shop floor) Breakdown and recovery service, perform roadside repairs. Update and program engine control modules (Cat, Cummins and International), Body controller programming including adding features/switches for custom applications through multiplexing.
