Full bare chassis rebuild on Caterpillar 2900 bigger. 3 week project.

Supervise a team of underground fitters, boiler maker and electricians and give valued advise. Day to day duties include all aspects of using 1SAP and reaching kpi targets. Parts ordering, maintenace scheduling and job scoping. Also have been back on the tools on nightshift due to down size of operation.

Reporting to maintenance forman I was responsible for leading my team of maintenance fitters and auto electricians maintaining a fleet of Caterpillar, Tamrock and Normet underground mining equipment.

Reported to Production Manager and Maintenance Manager. Managed and carried maintenace of a fleet of heavy ore haulage roadtrains such as Mack and Kenworth also Komatsu Loaders and Caterpiller loaders , Dozers and Escavators.

Prior to entering the mining industry I worked as a Deisel Mechanic working on different machines as follows.- Drill Corpe Western Deephole working as a exploration drill rig fitter and all support equipment.-Simto service and repairs to Cattterpillar Dozers ranging from D3 upto D9 and twin engine Caterpillar scrapers.-Cleveland Freight Lines for 3 years carrying out all repairs and Maintenance to a large fleet of roadtrains- Brand Mechanical services Dongara Servicing and repairs on Cray Boats fitted with MAN and Volvo Penta Deisel engines.-Boekeman Machineery Wongan Hills. Completed apprentaship as a mobile plant mechanic working on all types farming machineery but mainly OEM service and repair to Case IH equipment.
