I am a neuroscientist currently engaged in postdoctoral research at the University of Liège, where I focus on brain-inspired computing. My work spans systems neuroscience, sensory processing and integration, and electrophysiology, all integrated into a multidisciplinary approach that bridges neuroscience, robotics, and artificial intelligence.At our cutting-edge lab, we explore neuromorphic embodied intelligence by harnessing the principles of neuroscience to develop efficient and adaptive algorithms and robotic applications. We specialize in leveraging the unique advantages of neuromorphic engineering and neuroscience-informed methodologies to advance embodied intelligence. Our projects involve continuous interaction between theoretical concepts and experimental validation, using high-density microelectrode arrays (HD-MEAs) to investigate neuronal cultures and test ideas in both machine and biology.With a robust background in systems neuroscience and over six years of hands-on experience in designing and executing electrophysiological and behavioral experiments, I am skilled in acquiring, synchronizing, and analyzing large datasets. My programming proficiency enables me to tackle complex data challenges and contribute to cross-disciplinary innovations.I am passionate about driving forward research that not only deepens our understanding of biological systems but also informs the design of novel technologies for real-world applications.
