I’ve worked in broadcasting since 2009 in compliance, promotions and all stages of TV & video production. I specialise in post production with a passion for video editing and all things After Effects. Whether long-form or short-form, I’m used to delivering content for TV broadcast and various online platforms.In pre-production, I believe everyone has good ideas and no-one is immune from bad ones. While I’m certainly a creative person, the projects I’m proudest of have been birthed from other people’s ideas. My strength lies in taking the seed of a good idea and shaping it into something achievable that ticks everybody’s boxes.In production, whether working with large crews or skeleton crews, I’m used to wearing many hats. I regularly set up cameras, rig 3-point lighting for subjects, dress sets and light backdrops. I direct pieces-to-camera, talking heads, off-camera interviews, on-camera interviews and vision mix and stream live events and conferences.Having filmed throughout the UK, I’ve also had the privilege of working in Kenya’s Maasai Mara, Lake Victoria and Africa’s largest urban slum, Kibera. Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro region also makes the list, though at fairly low altitudes!For me, however, post production brings the greatest rewards. After acquiring all the necessary building blocks, assembling an edit, revising it and polishing it to perfection brings me the greatest sense of satisfaction.
