Supply Chain Manager
CurrentMain Duties and ResponsibilitiesWith 2 direct reports reporting to the Head of General Procurement to create and implement a new Supply Chain Management strategy that has delivered:• Creation and implementation of 3 year Supply Chain Management strategy• Creation of new Supply Chain Management function with the recruitment of a Supply Chain Specialist and creation of the Supply Chain Officer roles• Implemented supplier approval and rationalisation programme at all QA grades – from only 37 approved suppliers to approved 383 (reduction from >1000 suppliers to 383 in 12 months)• Created and implemented a controlled Master Approved Vendor list with KPI’s established• Creation and implementation of new Supply Chain Management policy, process and procedures• Creation and implementation of Horizon’s Supply Chain Charter and agreement with EPC Delivery team to sign up to the Charter• Implemented Commercial representation with regards to the Corrective Action Programme (Deputy Chairman of Screening Committee) to focus on the capture of supplier performance• Jointly implemented the Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) into CAP reporting tool• Jointly Implemented the Supplier Audits programme with key strategic suppliers• Jointly created the Engineering Procurement & Construction delivery team Supply Chain Management requirements• Creation of Horizon’s Supply Chain strategy PAC2 documentation and supporting public consultation meetings• Creation and implementation of joint Horizon and UK Government Supply Chain Development Strategy to co-ordinate a National approach of developing the existing and future UK supply chain to support this project• Supported the delivery of Horizon’s UK Supply Chain Event – design, implementation and delivery• Attendance at External Conferences with several speaking engagements (recognised as Supply Chain SME for HNP)
