Working on projects large and small, and helping others with theirs, using C, C++, C#, Java, Javascript, Python, R, and SQL, among other languages.

Managed a team of 6 database developers at Trillium Health Care using Microsoft SSRS, SQL Server Reporting Services, and a proprietary application and data integration workflow during a transition to Centene Corporation and centralized data warehouse tools.

I worked primarily with MS SQL Server, Oracle, and maintained an Access front end for a research grant administration application with an extensive library of VBS modules. In addition, I was the technical lead on the adoption of an Oracle/.Net web-based application for management of animal research, and designed custom reports using MS SSRS and Oracle SQL. I also did some C# programming, some Javascript and jQuery development, some data analysis and programming in R, and some work with ColdFusion, HTML, XML & XSD.

Presented supplementary material and solutions for an abstract algebra course for computer science students in a classroom environment, in German and English.

I worked on a large software project for managing pension insurance plans, on the actuarial calculations team. I was responsible for modeling the actuarial domain.

Supported & conducted research in psychiatric genetics. This involved consulting, conducting custom data analysis, visualization and write-ups, and programming in C, C++, R, SAS, SQL, Perl, HTML/CSS, Javascript/AJAX and Fortran.
