- Worked on a variety of rail demand and fare analysis projects across several UK passenger rail operators and for DfT. - Conducted due diligence on a business case for an international passenger rail operation. Required analysis of fare elasticities and analysis of forecasted demand/capacity, all benchmarked against international standards.- Power BI lead for a large analytical project in rail industry.- Worked on wider transport projects outside of rail, including for National Highways on the Rapid Charging Fund.

- Managed a team of Business and Yield Analysts- Led and developed Grand Central’s revenue management strategy for AP inventory to maximise revenue and loadings whilst minimising crowding.- Liaised with revenue management colleagues in other Arriva businesses to coordinate activity, share best practice and secure support and resources for GC’s revenue management activities.- Led Grand Central’s forecasting, business analysis, insight and trading reporting activities to deliver a comprehensive understanding of trading performance.- Selected for Arriva’s international future leaders programme, completed qualification from the Institute of Leadership & Management.- Steered and supported direct reports through a significant change period when the Commercial Team was restructured with redundancies to save cost following the COVID-19 pandemic. - Removed outdated processes and outputs that were superfluous to requirements by challenging direct reports and stakeholders to think differently. - Managed change and identified revenue improvements through new RMS and reservations system at TOC and Divisional level.

One company used the results to business case an additional £1m spend in 2019, driving an additional +1.2% journeys -v- 2018.- Coordinated external consultants and internal teams through process of adapting existing rail demand forecasting methodology to account for the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on our businesses. Ultimately aiding sustainable financial decisions, this approach enables each business to rapidly adapt their predicted recovery trajectory. - Proactively sought out personal development opportunities in Arriva’s Bid Team, contributed to a commercial initiative of a rail franchise bid, owning and delivering the modelled outputs.- Represented AUKT at an industry steering group reviewing the Passenger Demand Forecasting Handbook (PDFH) considering the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, personally evaluated key chapters. (PDFH summarises over twenty years of research on rail demand forecasting and is industry recognised). Resultant recommendations provided guidance to industry practitioners on validity of existing evidence and how to adapt as appropriate.

- Implemented method of adding bike reservation functionality, a new calling point station and new ticket type to the firm’s reservation system via thorough system testing and collaboration with experts from across group. Commended by senior managers for productivity, leadership, problem solving and organisation skills shown through the successful completion of these projects.- Chaired the monthly Special Events Group, worked on company-wide projects with senior members of Operations, Marketing, Customer Relations and Safety departments. Developed the group as a platform for steering yield management policies, by increasing frequency of the meetings and employing strong communication and collaborative skills. - Raised the average revenue for group bookings by 20% year-on-year by formulating a process methodology with external providers which encouraged higher priced journeys.- Suggested and implemented regular tutorials between head office revenue team and on-board staff to encourage collaboration and understanding of decision-making, resulting in actionable insights and recommendations for both driving revenue growth and reducing the risk of crowding.
