- Our team entered an international competition sponsored by the US Department of Energy to design, build and transport an entirely solar powered home in Washington D.C. to be displayed on the National Mall. - The home was constructed in Michigan, disassembled, transported and reassembled on the National Mall in Washington D.C.- As a member of the core team, we were responsible for all of the conceptual design, working drawings, construction (in Michigan and Washington D.C.) and transportation under the supervision of our professors.- Achieved project goal: design and build 800 square foot home, completely powered by solar energy- Successfully executed on-site management of finances, building and scheduling- Excelled in organization, time management and collaboration with team members to ensure project was delivered on time and on budget
