As a Citizen Outreach Director for the Fund, I work with a team running a campaign office in one of dozens of cities throughout the country. The staff I supervise works to educate citizens about the issues and get them involved in campaigns to win progressive change. We do this by canvassing; we go out into communities and talk to as many people as possible and get them involved. In essence, the job is to build a team of committed activists who mobilize hundreds, even thousands of citizens to take action. We give our partner groups the people power they need to win.

Maui Hawaii

Stationed at a Small boat station whose primary responsibilities were Search and Rescue as well as Law Enforcement for the region surrounding The Island of Maui. As a member of the engineering department I was responsible for maintenance and care of station equipment and vehicles in support of the engineering department head. Acted as Boat Engineer during missions.

Supervise campers and assist Field Instructors in the daily activities of the camp programs. Lead down time activities.

As an Instructor for the Oregon Trail Chapter of the Outdoor School Program I was responsible for running educational programs for 4th grade students about the 'Oregon Trail' and the pioneering era in American history. Mentored the high school volunteers who were working with the campers in educational skills and child management skills.
