Aircraft operated: GippsAero GA8 Airvan; and Cessna C172 Skyhawk.Conducted regular scenic flights of the Great Barrier Reef operating from Cairns Airport. Utilised ‘Champagne’ flight planning software integrated with NAIPS for aircraft flight plan submissions and aircraft load and control calculations. Facilitated passenger checkin and enquires from the reception desk of the office building.

Received further cross training on customer service operations for client airlines after being with the company for 3 months. Responsibilities included: Automated bag drop assistance and troubleshooting, boarding gate passenger management, passenger and baggage checkin facilitation. Software programs used: Avantik, Ink DCS, Sabre, and Uplift.

Trained in ground handling and servicing of ATR47, ATR72, B737-800, DHC-8 (Q200, Q300, and Q400), and SF34 aircraft. Duties included: aircraft loading, aircraft pushback, baggage makeup, preparation of load instruction reports, receipt and dispatch. Airlines serviced: aerlink (formerly Hevilift), National Jet Express, Rex Airlines, and Skytrans.

Completion of pre-flight editing within software programs. Troubleshoot airline software passenger ticketing issues. Assist disgruntled passengers with finding a practical solution to their grievance whilst complying with company policy and procedures. Welcome and support new staff with the upmost assistance in developing their own skillset.

Ensured all flights were operated in accordance with all applicable CASA legislation and company SOPs. Conducted routine and preventative aircraft maintenance in accordance with Schedule 8 - Pilot Approved Maintenance. Frequently drove company courtesy bus for passenger pick-up/drop-off. General administrative duties and office work.

Ensured a safe and enjoyable swimming environment for all patrons. Conducted regular testing of water samples to ensure chemical levels were within allowable parameters; actioned corrective measures whenever necessary.
