•Served as Resident Engineer for the Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island CIP, overseeing the construction of a new San Francisco neighborhood, which encompasses over 8,000 homes along with parks, hotels, and entertainment venues. The projects entailed the establishment of new roads and utilities (streetlights, traffic signals, water, power, gas, and fiber optic cables). Furthermore, I coordinated the development of critical infrastructure such as geotechnical mitigation works, waste and stormwater pump stations, switchyards, water storage tanks, a ferry terminal, seawall, and parks.•Ensured compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and approved drawings for sewer, traffic, curb ramp, landscaping, and paving works.•Represented the City to oversee Caltrans on/off ramp and road widening projects on Yerba Buena Island, ensuring that the projects comply with the City’s requirements for new infrastructure.•Ensured prompt responses to RFI and submittal requests.
