I worked with the electric utility and healthcare sectors on ESG topics including climate change, the energy transition, water, nature, responsible policy advocacy, and human rights. Additionally, I supported climate justice work by spearheading research on Just Transition topics and supporting corporate advocacy for environmental justice policy.

I assisted in research initiatives for the organization's Company Network. I assessed the progress of major U.S. banks on a series of Just Transition performance indicators and led data collection for the Racial Equity Network Performance benchmark to assess progress on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals. Additionally, I spearheaded research on workers’ rights issues, formulating recommendations for the organization’s advocacy strategy on worker engagement.

I spearheaded major research projects on workers’ rights and collective bargaining, presenting my research findings to 20+ colleagues and offering recommendations for future advocacy strategies. I worked alongside a cross-organizational team to integrate workers’ rights into corporate climate change advocacy.

I represented Emory University at the United Nations Climate Conference in Bonn, Germany (UNFCCC SB56). I attended negotiation sessions, press conferences, and panels focused on climate finance and carbon markets and participated in the RINGO (Research and Independent Non-Governmental Organization) constituency.

I produced original, multidisciplinary content for the Emory Climate Talks initiative. I researched and wrote blog posts analyzing the Article 6 agreement at COP26 and advocating for loss and damage financing within future global climate change agreements. I was also interviewed on an episode of the AmpliFIRE podcast exploring international students' perspectives on climate change at Emory University.

I was a co-founder and executive member of the Emory Climate Coalition, a network representing sustainability organizations at Emory University. I advocated for improvements to climate policies by drafting student government resolutions, writing op-eds, and establishing working relationships with University administration, faculty members, and campus leaders. In October 2021, I co-facilitated a landmark meeting with the University President during which he signed a formal commitment to update the university climate action plan and join the Race to Zero and Climate Leadership Network.

Leading a student executive board of 10+ people, I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization, including research initiatives, campus engagement, student activism, and collaboration with faculty and staff. I successfully organized and executed Emory’s first climate strike with 200+ attendees and a 24 Hours of Reality advocacy event with 60+ attendees.

After attending a national climate advocacy training with The Climate Reality Project, I helped found Emory's first organization dedicated to student-led climate change activism. I was involved from the infancy of the organization in strategic planning and recruitment efforts.

I worked closely with Senator Elena Parent, Chair of the Georgia Senate Democratic Caucus, and her Chief of Staff. I conducted detailed research on current bills in the Georgia House and Senate to inform Senator Parent's policy positions and priorities. I assisted with speechwriting, constituent outreach, and social media, and I reported on relevant legislative hearings in the Judiciary and Education committees.

I spearheaded research initiatives for Climate Emergency Fund, an organization funding climate activists in the U.S. and globally. My research focused on federal climate legislation; I presented my findings at strategic planning sessions to help shape the most effective allocation of funding to climate activist groups.

I supported Dr. Steven Hochman, Director of Research at The Carter Center and Faculty Assistant to President Carter, with several of his projects. I wrote an article about consumer protection efforts in the 1970s, conducting oral history interviews with six former Carter administration officials during the research process. My article was published on the front page of the Carter-Mondale newsletter.

I provided academic support to 180 students in introductory microeconomics course (Econ 101). I hosted office hours and collaborated with fellow Teaching Assistants to grade quizzes and assignments. I gained strong leadership and organizational skills and deepened my knowledge of core economic concepts.

I was responsible for the well-being of 100+ campers and assumed the responsibilities of the Division Head in her absence. I led intensive, three-day backcountry trips and oversaw 10 staff in crafting thoughtful environmental education programs at base camp.

I conducted a qualitative analysis of Canadian media coverage of the Trump administration, coding 100+ news articles. My research supported Dr. Holli Semetko's analysis of global media coverage in 2017. This data was used in a presentation, “America's Image in the Trump Era,” at the 2019 Midwest Political Science Association conference.

As a counselor and outdoor specialist, I was responsible for the social, emotional, and physical well-being of campers during day-to-day camp programming and on intensive, multi-day hiking trips.
